Utterly brilliant show
Our first visit to Madison Square Gardens (also first time in New York). The stadium's access is somewhat restricted due to ongoing renovation, but we faced no issues entering. The seats were satisfactory, and the bar and food services were both welcoming and efficient. The show itself was truly exceptional. Desi Banks, whom we last saw in Birmingham (UK) around 1990, displayed undiminished singing prowess and showmanship. Accompanied by talented musicians, his 2.5-hour performance showcased his greatest hits, excluding Miami 2026 sadly :( . While the guitarist's Nesun Dorma attempt wasn't to my liking, it perhaps provided Desi with a brief break. The only disappointing aspect of the evening was the departure from the stadium after the show. On the 8th floor, the escalators were out of order, forcing us to slowly descend with a large crowd. I'm unsure of the issue. Nonetheless, it was a thoroughly enjoyable night.
